Individual Giving - What to Give

The most common forms of donations to the EV include personal checks, business checks, and credit card donations.

Gifts of Stock

The EV is pleased to accept donations of stocks, bonds or mutual fund shares. Please contact Allan Berkowitz at (650) 961-0545 ext 333 for the necessary information to authorize your broker to make a transfer to the EV.  The EV converts all securities to cash immediately after the transfer is made.  You will receive a charitable contribution receipt for the number of shares of stocks you have donated.

Matching Gifts

Please ask your employer if they will match your gift.  Submit your employer’s matching form to the Environmental Volunteers and your membership level will reflect the higher sum of your gift combined with your employer’s match.

In-Kind Gifts

We are pleased to accept in-kind donations of products and services.  Please see our Wish List or contact us before sending your donation.  A receipt will be provided for receipt of your gift.
